Deborah Weaver, Co-Founder and Executive Director
Deborah holds an MFA equivalent in Dance and is a faculty member in the Department of Physical Education, Recreation, and Athletics at Wellesley College. She has been teaching for over 30 years, focusing on the relationship between self-esteem, physical training, and well-being. Email Deborah
Tracey Westgate, Program Director
Tracey has over ten years of experience as a trainer, non-profit manager and program developer. As Program Director, she is responsible for developing and maintaining successful program partnerships, ensuring high-quality program delivery and managing program staff. Before joining Girls’ LEAP full-time in 2006, she developed teen programs with minority youth at Casa Myrna Vazquez and Catholic Charities’ Laboure Center, focusing on teen dating violence awareness and strengths-based mentoring. Peg Drisko-Johnson, Interim Development Director
With more than 17 years of experience in non-profit management and fund raising, Peg has worked with a dozen Boston-based organizations including; The Greater Boston Food Bank, and The Home for Little Wanderers. Peg has successfully written numerous grant proposals and has received funding for her clients from donors such as: The Peabody Foundation, Highland Street Foundation, and Gillette. Peg holds a Master of Education degree in Policy, Research, and Administration from The University of Massachusetts at Amherst and a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Westfield State University. Kristen Cuneo, Mentor Programs Manager
Kristen manages both the college and high school leadership development programs for Girls’ LEAP. Kristen is an alumna of Wellesley College, with a BA in Women’s Studies. Kristen has been with Girls’ LEAP since 2006, as a teaching assistant and student intern through Wellesley College. She started her full-time role with Girls’ LEAP as of June 2007. Email Kristen
Patsy Henderson, Program Expansion Coordinator, Mass Promise Fellow
Patsy is serving at Girls’ LEAP through the Massachusetts Promise Fellowship, an Americorps program. She will be teaching in programs and conducting program outreach to the community of Brockton. Prior to beginning her year of service, she worked with LEAP throughout her 4 years at Simmons College, where she recently graduated with a double-BA in Psychology and Studio Art. Email Patsy
