Girls’ LEAP Earns 2025 Candid Platinum Seal of Transparency

November 24, 2025Girls’ LEAP announced today that it has been awarded the 2025 Candid Platinum Seal of Transparency, the highest level of recognition offered by Candid to nonprofits demonstrating exceptional commitment to openness, accountability, and measurable impact.

The Platinum Seal provides supporters with direct access to comprehensive information about Girls’ LEAP’s programs, outcomes, leadership, and financial stewardship. Through its Candid profile, Girls’ LEAP offers funders, community members, and donors a clear view of how their support empowers girls and gender-expansive youth across Greater Boston to build confidence, courage, and leadership.

About Girls’ LEAP
For 25 years, Girls’ LEAP has delivered self-defense and social-emotional skills training to girls and nonbinary youth ages 8 - 18. They partner with schools, community centers and other youth-serving organizations to deliver 11-week programs and workshops, generally during out of school time. In addition, Girls’ LEAP runs a robust year-round Teen Mentor program. All programs are run by inter-generational teaching teams including Adult Lead Teachers, college-aged Teaching Assistants and Teen Mentors. Girls’ LEAP is unique in integrating both physical and emotional self-defense, making a lasting difference to the youth they serve.
