The Boston Foundation

The Boston Foundation Continues to Support Girls’ LEAP

Girls’ LEAP is pleased to announce our third year of funding from The Boston Foundation to support our expansion and capacity building. With the support of The Boston Foundation we have steadily increased our program capacity over the last 2 years, enabling us to offer 30 Standard Programs and serve 900 girls in FY 2009. The Boston Foundation, with its strong understanding of community issues in Boston, has targeted youth violence in general, along with the increasing problem of girls becoming more aggressive. We thank The Boston Foundation for its continued support and look forward to reaching even more girls in 2009/2010 and teaching them to stay safe through conflict resolution.

Our 3 summer interns (Team Leaders) will supervise and assist the Teen Mentors, and help with other program development tasks.
